Overall Review: With the right-side buttons and those below the wheel essentially useless - and more so in fast-paced gaming - it's gathering dust on the side while I continue to use my much cheaper 5-button mouse. I had high hopes for this mouse as a gamer with never enough buttons. I was thoroughly disappointed. Cons: Uncomfortable for palm players because your fingers are so wide spread, hard to reach the right side buttons because of it, If the front wasnt so wide i would beable to tolerate it.
Drivers blow for 64 bit Vista. Overall Review: Love Razer like everything but the way it spread my fingers out. Pros: I am using it on a 22 inch monitor and a 57 inch big screen tv. This mouse is amazingly fast on both and being able to set the mouse to so many levels of DPI is proving to be very useful. Cons: The mouse buttons feel a bit cheap though they do work very well.
Also like others before me have said the nontangle cord gets annoying at times it really is not a big deal it just can be annoying. Pros: It has a very unique and comfortable design that I love. It's big in size and has a great feel. The LEDs give it a better look. The speed of the mouse is very notable. Adjusting the DPI with a simple button is a great addition. Probably what I like most of this mouse is the feel as it fits almost perfectly to my fingures and thee material is very smooth and comfortable.
The side buttons are a bit hard, but that's a good thing because that way you don't press then accidentally. Overall Review: I feel I spent my money well on this mouse as it makes an excellent upgrade to my last one, and it's the fastest mouse I've used as well as the most comfortable. Overall Review: This mouse is not for people who want a mouse that feels exactly like the one they have.
It will take some getting used to, but I find that the mouse shape, feel, size, and weight are perfectly balanced to deliver a high-end gaming mouse as promised. The weight is somewhat more distributed to the rear of the mouse, so I was forced to elevate my arm when playing, but this is actually a plus, since having your arm lower than the mouse is how you get carpal tunnel syndrome. It is in fact, a great mouse, well thought-out. Cons: worked for maybe 4 months at most then died. Always had problems with it from the begining.

Jordan D. Verified Owner. Cons: Has a learning curve of an hour or two. Did you? Yes No. James M. I would do it again in a second though, I upgraded from a MX18 and a glass pad and I dare say it was one of the best upgrades I have ever made. Overall Review: I did install the drivers, but I never played with the software.
The mouse works perfect for me out-of-the-box so I haven't felt the need. Pros: Extremely accurate. Noticeably more accurate than my Logitech G5. Buttons, buttons, and more buttons for just about anything you would need. If you take time to set it up properly for your gaming needs it's really easy to switch from one profile to another.
My only real issue at all with the mouse is a personal one It's simply too skinny for me. I just can't seem to get used to it. My game play doesn't suffer, but it just doesn't feel as comfortable in my hand. I'll have to make sure not to get an ambidextrous mouse next time. Overall Review: If I can ever get used to the width of the lachesis I think it's going to top my list of the best mice I've used.
Until then it's merely a really cool looking toy. I never thought that it's width would've been an issue Pros: I love the features this thing can do.
Its responsive and theirs plenty of macro keys. Cons: However These are cons but just something to note, cause it can happen to you if you get this mouse. This mouse didn't "plug and play". I had to install drivers with my old mouse, and then restart my comp, and plug in my this mouse, and update it. It maybe a issue on my end, but that was disappointing at that. Then I didn't like dpi, its just way too fast me, I simply lowered to dpi. I have a claw grip, so I just couldn't get my hands to touch or get use to the right side macro keys due to the design.
And overall the design I tested out for like 10 days, though several hours daily, and couldn't get a comfortable handling with it. Other than that, this is a great mouse if you can get use to it. It just took me to long to do so. Thats true.
People whom has claim this mouse is too sensitive or has glitches. That's false. See other Thoughs Overall Review: If you get this mouse, install the drivers from the CD, restart your comp, then, go to the Razer site, and download the latest drivers, and firmware which will fix cursor glitch.
There are a few updates for this mouse. I had no hardware issues with this mouse. Also use a Hard Mousepad or else its too smooth dpi it just make it fell too fast, or you can lower Windows Sens, and if playing game, lower game sens. Fact is, this mouse isn't for everyone, I took a gamble on it, cause I want to try a Razer brand vs others. And I bought the Destructor pad with this, and I like the pad more with my old mouse then this. I just couldn't get use to the fell of this mouse with a Claw handling.
Therefore it all depends. I can only recommend this mouse if you willing to get use to it. But other then that too me this was a testing gamble, and I returned it back. Now, I'm going to try ether the Razer DeathAdder or there competitors high end mouses.
Pros: On the fly DPI adjusting. Very accurate, smooth movements. Comfortable for prolonged use. Overall Review: Give the mouse some time. It feels awkward at first but after using it for a while 8 months I enjoy the way it feels.
I use primarily for 3D applications etc. Although I still use a tablet to do any sculpting or PS painting Spending a long time on my old mouse would cause my hand to cramp, but this mouse seems almost ergonomic even though many people seem to think it's aggressively designed.
On a side note. Apparently it stepped my game up a bit. Pros: Have had this mouse for 3 years now, it's still working awesome! I'll probably upgrade to the version or the new Taipan soon. Overall Review: It sputters a bit sometimes, but I know it's the mat I'm using. Pros: Feels comfy after long gaming sessions Tracking super consistent and reliable Mouse program is very customizable Size is perfect for me.
I feel the smaller the size I have more control over all the buttons. Cons: I sometimes have to unplug it and plug it in again when I boot up the computer.
